Jeanette Green is the Director of Human Resources for Loudoun County Government in northern Virginia, one of the fastest growing counties in Virginia and home to one of the largest data center hubs in the world. Ms. Green has 17 years of human resources experience in the private and public sectors. In her current roles, Ms. Green serves on the County Administrator’s executive committee and oversees of all aspects of the County’s talent strategy, including recruitment and retention, employee relations, risk management, and total rewards.
Ms. Green graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the National Public Employer Labor Relations Association. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Maryland.
Denise Haselhorst is the Chief People Officer at Anthology, an education technology company based in Boca Raton, Florida, where she is responsible for all aspects of global human capital. Denise leads the company’s global Human Resources team, planning, developing, and implementing innovative talent acquisition and talent management programs aligned with strategic objectives, values and mission. She drives the design and implementation of human capital solutions to positively impact leadership effectiveness, organizational performance, and employee engagement, all aimed at delivering business and financial results.
Prior to joining Anthology in October 2021, Denise served as the Chief People officer for Blackboard, an education technology company based in Reston, Virginia, where she helped drive the company’s growth from 300 employees to over 2,500 employees globally, playing a critical role in the company’s domestic and international business expansion. Earlier in Denise’s career she worked for American Management Systems and CGI, both global information technology professional services firms.
Denise holds an M.A. in human resource management from the Kogod School of Business at American University and a B.A in psychology from the University of Michigan. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Denise serves as the Vice Chair and Treasurer of The Langley School, an independent K-8 school, located in McLean, Virginia.
Robin Palchus is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). As the leader of the Human Resource function, Robin sets and executed PhRMA's talent strategy. She serves as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team and has been transformative in shaping PhRMA’s talent brand and value proposition to align with the organization’s business plans and strategic objectives.
Robin previously was the Vice President of Human Resources for TEGNA’s Digital Division and led the HR function, where she set strategy, created alignment, and executed at the local levels with emphasis on value creation through high performance and engagement. Prior to TEGNA, Robin spent seven years with Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) serving in line Human Resources leadership roles as well as led a team of 18 consultants in the Organization and Human Capital Strategy group delivering human capital solutions. During her tenure she led a research team in conjunction with The Partnership for Public Service and launched a report titled Cyber In-Security: Strengthening the Federal Cyber Security Workforce released in July 2009. Robin also had a very successful career with RSM US LLP, a leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services, and in her last role led a team of 18 Senior Human Resources Directors across the US.
She holds a BS in education from The King’s College, is a designated SPHR, and is a member of the Human Resources Planning Society. She has done graduate work at Georgetown University and holds a certificate in Advanced Change Management and is an ICF certified Executive Coach.
Dennis M. Sawyers is Chief Human Resources Officer of the American Society of Hematology (ASH), serving as the Society’s chief human capital strategist to align human capital management and organizational development with the Society’s priorities. Dennis ensures regulatory compliance of human capital management policies and practices and full realization of the principals of diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization. Dennis directs all human resources and organizational development programs and initiatives -- staff communication strategies, workforce planning, staffing, recruitment, leadership and staff development, organizational learning and development, performance management, recognition and rewards, compensation and total rewards, benefits administration, and safety.
Prior to joining ASH, Dennis established The Sawyers Group, LLC – People Services Consulting where he was engaged by for- and not-for-profit business such as Paul Public Charter School and the Law Offices of Venable, LLP to lead a wide range of people priorities. Previously, Dennis was Managing Director, Talent Acquisition at Nonprofit HR with broad leadership responsibilities for building and maintaining thriving client relationships and ensuring the highest quality candidate experience for all temporary, direct hire, and executive search candidates and prospects. As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner for Nonprofit HR, he led client engagements, provided advice and counsel, and developed and implemented human capital management programs. Dennis also served as Senior Human Resources Manager at Booz Allen Hamilton, leading, and driving the people agenda for the 1,400 employees.
Dennis earned both his Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Human Resource Management and his Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management from the Catholic University of America | Metropolitan School of Professional Studies and Busch School of Business respectively. He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) with the Human Resources Certification Institute and a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) with the Society of Human Resource Management.
Clay Worley serves as senior vice president and chief human resources officer for NCI, responsible for the company’s human resources strategy and execution in support of NCI’s human-driven technologies. Clay brings more than 30 years of experience leading human resources teams and driving human capital initiatives across HR functional areas in support of business objectives, most recently as vice president of Human Resources for DXC Technology’s U.S. public sector organization. Prior to that role, he worked in several HR leadership roles at Leidos, SAIC and L-3 Communications.
Clay was recently named an “HR Super Leader” by Visier, and one of Washington, D.C.’s Top HR Leaders of the Year by DCA Live. He currently serves on the board of the HR Alliance D.C. organization and is a member of the board of directors for BioPharma Global. He represents NCI on the Virginia Chamber of Commerce’s Blueprint Virginia 2030 Executive Committee. He is involved with community and charitable organizations such as Jobs for Life, Chalmers Center Work Life training program and volunteers with The Lamb Center and Boulder Crest Foundation.
Clay holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Louisville and a master’s degree in business administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
Rainia L. Washington is Executive Vice President – Chief Human Resources Officer for FINRA. In this role, Ms. Washington is responsible for leading the People Solutions organization in establishing and leading the People Strategy that enables FINRA’s short and long-term business goals. She is a member of the strategic leader team shaping current and future business ventures to include technology advancements, diversity and inclusion, talent maturation and competitive pay structures.
Prior to joining FINRA, Mrs. Washington worked for Lockheed Martin Corporation where she held a variety of Human Resources positions with increasing responsibility during her 26-year career with the company focused on human resources management, compensation, talent management and employee development, diversity and inclusion, employee relations, talent acquisition, labor relations, diversity, and human resources analytics.
As the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, she was responsible for developing and executing global strategies that cultivate and maintain a culture of inclusion for the over 110,000 employees worldwide. She led the company’s Executive Inclusion Council in partnership with the CEO and senior executive leadership.
Prior to joining FINRA, Rainia worked for Lockheed Martin Corporation for 26 years where she held a variety of positions with increasing responsibility in human resources management, compensation, talent management, employee development, diversity and inclusion, employee relations, talent acquisition, labor relations, diversity, and human resources analytics. As the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, she developed and executed global strategies that cultivate and maintain a culture of inclusion for 110,000 employees worldwide. Rainia led the company’s Executive Inclusion Council in partnership with the CEO and senior executive leadership. As Corporate Director, Performance Management she led and managed the company’s performance management process and, as Director and Human Resources Site Lead for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Marietta Facility, she led a team of 40+ Human Resources professionals supporting over 10,000 employees.
Rainia has served on the Great Minds in STEM Board of Directors, the Society of Women Engineers Board of Directors, the INROADS Board of Directors, the Georgia Diversity Council Board of Directors, and the University of Pennsylvania Engineering Board. She is actively involved with the Wiley Tutoring Program, Big Brother Big Sister Program, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, and Laytonsville Parent Teacher Association. Rainia received her BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Organizational Development from Pennsylvania State University.
