About the Program

In WATRA’s December 7, 2022 program we will review the latest Washington area employer compensation and benefits trends affected by the recent pandemic, increasing inflation and threats of recession. We will see data collected through a series of surveys covering all industries including Gov Contractors, non-profits, local government, health care, education, and more, including:

About the Speaker

Angelo Kostopoulos is with AKRON, Inc., a leading provider of custom-built software solutions and services focused on web-based solutions for statistical data collection and analysis, online survey collection and implementation, and business website design and implementation. Angelo has more than 25 years of experience in technology and data analytics, he oversees AKRON’s compensation, benefits, and management survey practice, managing a team of technologists and subject matter experts that collaborate in the design and administration of the surveys. Having designed and developed data-driven statistical databases and systems for over twenty-five years, Angelo began AKRON’s survey practice over 15 years ago.  AKRON is the publisher of the National Think Tank Compensation Survey, the only survey in the nation focusing on think tanks and research organizations. Since 2003, AKRON has administered the HRA-NCA Compensation and Benefits Surveys, the Washington-Baltimore area’s most comprehensive resource of jobs, salary, and benefits information. AKRON has also conducted surveys for the American Bankers Association, the Local Government Personnel Association, as well as a variety of other management surveys for private companies. AKRON’s data analytics practice has consulted for clients such as the World Bank, the Congressional Budget Office, and others. Angelo holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from The University of Maryland, an MS in Computer Science from the George Washington University, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
